Text 10 Jan looking back…

i have found nothing iconoclastic… well; nothing shocking about the iconoclasm… that supposedly resides upon the blogsite.

tis a shame. perhaps my feeble attempts at photography will be somewhat shocking in their despicable nature - in the fact that they are shite photographs - refer to

other than go and piss on a church or torch said church… pissing on the pope or the pope pissing on his numerous lovers… i don’t see where i was meant to be going with this collection of thoughts and images… i have a grasp of the unnerving and shocking… but i was never shocking. it was laughable to hear me attempt to be shocking. imagine the numerous female lovers i could have had if i’d realised that they had found my rants amusing and worthy of taking to bed… cool…

though i have framed the image i created for a final print - the image based on the spanish revolution - how the spanish revolutionaries, the republicans of catalonia and granada, of old and new castille, were let down by the powers that be - who, in turn, allowed a fascist government to come to power - whilst the country was looted by both the soviet union and the west… the supposed gold reserves of catalonia still haven’t been returned… stalin, churchill, hitler look on with baited breath… our own fuhrer in waiting: griffin is another establishment figure, fed by the oxbridge system that brought us derek and clive, the rancid wit of clive anderson etc…

never trust a politician (that lesson has been learnt time and time again)…

besides… laughter precedes fascism, no?

the image isn’t particularly shocking… but… it is in keeping with the political edge of the early dadaists (and their non-politics of art bruitism/brutism - whether loud untrammelled noise for music’s sake or loud and (un)engaging imagery of collage and montage.
